Each Tuesday night in July, Chef Marc Murphy will be hosting a two-hour cruise of New York Harbor aboard a two-story NY Waterways ferry.
Tonight: a “Red White and Blue” celebration featuring Murphy’s signature Big Marc Burger and tri-colored cocktails. Upcoming wavy gravies include:
- 7/10 – A “Bastille Day” celebration of French-inflected eats
- 7/17 – “Beef, Bourbon & Beer,” with craft brews and rare bourbons
- 7/24 – A “Bluegrass & Bayou” evening of spicy Cajun dishes and live bluegrass
- 7/31 – “Swine and Sparkling Wine,” with pan-global bubbles and roast suckling pig
Cruises run 8-10pm, departing from the World Financial Pier and circling down for a view of the harbor, bridges, skyline, and Statue of Liberty.
Depending on how steely your resolve, you may ask the captain to take a second lap.
